LLoyds Bank closed it's Abbots Langley branch on Tuesday 26th July 2016.
The Post Office can accept cheque and cash deposits.
You will need a Lloyds paying in slip for cash deposits.
For cheque deposits a Lloyds paying in slip and a Post Office envelope.
You can also use a Lloyds Debit Card to 
withdraw cash up to £300.00.
Opening hours: Monday-Saturday 09:00 to 17:30

Abbots Langley is a thriving village and civil parish with a long and interesting history. It has been inhabited since 1086 and was birthplace of the only English Pope, born as Nicholas Breakspear around 1100 who became Pope Adrian IV.


Current population is 10,472 (2001 census).

Here is a list of events that run annually:

June - Abbots Langley Carnival
Saturday 10th June 2017 
The event begins with the judging of the Parade on School Mead at 10:45. Parade leaves at 12 noon towards Manor House. Programmes available in businesses around the village. The annual carnival is full of colour, activities, entertainment and most of all, community. Event ends at 4:45pm but funfair continues through the evening.
It is a wonderful day for all the family.
Organised by Watford Lions.

#OneLove - Sunday 11th June 2017
Hunton Park Hotel WD4 8PN
3:30 to 7:30. Free Live Music with five acts.
Concert in Aid of victims of London & Manchester, organised by Dean Courtney and supported by Over the Moon. Open to all. No Tickets. Refreshments available or bring a Picnic.
Donations please.

June/July - Festival of the Arts
Held every two years. Next event will be in 2018.

July - St Lawrence Church Fete
Saturday 1st July 2017 2:00 to 5:00
In front of the church, fun and games, tombola, coconut shy, bric-a-brac, raffle etc.
Proceeds to the Peace Hospice and the
Hospice of St. Francis

Flower Festival
St Lawrence Church. Floral displays depicting
an annual theme.

October - Tough Ten Race
Sunday 1st October 2017
Manor House Recreation Grounds
A wonderful family event with a Fun Run of 1.5k,
a 3k and 5k race and then the Tough 10k!

September - Abbots Apple Fest
Saturday 23rd September 2017 
on School Mead. 11:00 to 3:30.
Fruit Trees for sale, Food, Live Music, Games and Entertainment, Petting Zoo, Punch & Judy and more. Free entry and fun for all.

November - Fireworks
Friday 3rd November 2017
Manor House Recreation Grounds. Organised by Watford Lions and buckets rattled for donations. Grounds open from 6.30pm with music & rides. Fireworks at 7.30pm.

December - Carol Concert
Thursday 30th November 2017
In the High Street. Come and join the evening.
Businesses open. Refreshments and fun.
Carol Singing and a visit from Santa!
